Drafting municipal agreements and contracts

Drafting , amending, and interpreting by-laws

Advising municipalities on compliance with the Municipal Act, 2001, the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act, the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Development Charges Act, 1997 and other statutes and regulations affecting municipalities.

Representing clients on a variety of land use applications (including land severances, sub-division approvals, re-zonings, and minor variances)

Representing clients on appeals to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (formerly the Ontario Municipal Board), the Ontario Drainage Tribunal, and other bodies
